Sales scenario calculator

See how much your store's sales could change if orders per visit or average order value went up. Enter your numbers from your platform's dashboard and try up to three scenarios.

  • Free, no sign-up

You see the result right away — no account and no email.

  • Your numbers don't leave your device

The calculation runs in your browser. We don't send your numbers anywhere and we don't store them.

  • “Where do I find this number?”

Next to each field, an explanation of where to find it in Salla, Zid and Shopify.

This is a scenario, not a forecast: it shows what happens if a number changes, and doesn't promise that it will change.

Your current numbers

Every field is optional: enter what you know, and we'll calculate what your numbers allow and tell you what's missing. We use the numbers you type only for this calculation. We don't store them and we don't read anything from your store.

Later on, we'll fill in these numbers automatically for Shopify stores (no date set yet).

Where do I find this number?

Salla

  1. From your store's main menu, click “Reports” and then “Store performance”, then set the report date (the same period as here).
  2. Choose the report type “Visits”; the number you need is “Total visits”. This report works once your store is connected to Google Analytics.

If your dashboard doesn't show “Store performance” (the older reports interface): from the side menu “Reports”, set the report date, then the report type, and click “View”. According to Salla's article on that interface, its visits report shows the last 30 days only.

Zid

  1. From your Zid dashboard, open the home page (“Dashboard”).
  2. The number you need is the “Visits” indicator.
  3. Set the period from the date option at the top of the page (the same period as here), or from “All days” under the indicator.

According to Zid, some analytics are available only on the Professional plan and the large-business plan.

Shopify

  1. From your Shopify admin, open Analytics and choose the same period from the date menu (the calendar icon).
  2. The number you need is Sessions, which covers the online store (Online Store) only.

Shopify changed how it measures sessions between 21 and 23 September 2026 (orders and sales did not change), so make your whole period fall after 23 September 2026 if you can.

Another platform? Look on your store dashboard's reports or statistics page for the same number, for the same period and the same channel.

Salla and Zid menu names are translated from their Arabic help centers; your dashboard may word them slightly differently.

Sales value
Where do I find this number?

Salla

  1. From your store's main menu, click “Reports” and then “Store performance”, then set the report date (the same period as here).
  2. Choose the report type “Sales”; the number is “Total sales”. According to Salla it is before discounts, includes products, shipping and taxes, and excludes returns — choose the basis “Including shipping and tax, before discounts” for it.
  3. The number of orders and the sales change with the “order status filter”; Salla advises including “Completed” and “In progress”. Use the same statuses for orders and for sales.

If your dashboard doesn't show “Store performance” (the older reports interface): from the side menu “Reports”, set the report date, then the report type “Sales”, and click “View”.

Zid

  1. From your Zid dashboard, open the home page (“Dashboard”).
  2. The number you need is the “Sales” indicator.
  3. Set the period from the date option at the top of the page (the same period as here), or from “All days” under the indicator.
  4. Zid's help center doesn't say what this number includes (shipping, tax and discounts), so choose the sales basis “Not specified” if you're not sure.

Shopify

  1. From Analytics, open Reports and choose the Sales category, for the same period.
  2. Shopify shows more than one number: Gross sales (before discounts, excluding shipping and tax), Net sales (after discounts and returns, excluding shipping and tax), Total sales (after discounts and returns, including tax, shipping and fees). Pick one, choose the sales basis that matches it, and stick with it every time.

Another platform? Look on your store dashboard's reports or statistics page for the same number, for the same period and the same channel.

Salla and Zid menu names are translated from their Arabic help centers; your dashboard may word them slightly differently.

Advanced options (optional): period, channel, currency, sales basis

If you leave them: currency Saudi riyal (SAR), channel and basis "not specified".

Period
Which period should I choose?

Choose the start and end dates as you set them in your platform's reports, and copy all the numbers (visits, orders and sales) from the same period and the same channel. Numbers from different periods can't be divided by each other.

Visits cover the online store only, so copy the online store's orders and sales for the same period. If you can't separate them from your other channels, choose the channel as it is, or leave the field empty.

How do I separate the online store channel?

Salla

  1. We didn't find a sales-channel filter in Salla's current articles on the sales report. If all your sales come from your online store, choose “Online store only”; otherwise choose “All sales channels” or “Not specified”.

Zid

  1. From your Zid dashboard, open the home page (“Dashboard”).
  2. The “Sales by channel” section shows the value of orders from each channel (online store, Mazeed, Zid Cashier, Dashboard). Zid's help center doesn't say whether the orders and sales indicators at the top of the page include all channels; if you have more than one channel, choose “Not specified”.

Shopify

  1. Sessions cover the online store only, while the Analytics dashboard shows orders and sales for all the sales channels you use.
  2. If you have point of sale (POS) or other channels: from Analytics → Reports (Sales category), open the Total sales by sales channel report and take the Online Store numbers only, or choose “All sales channels” here.

Another platform? Look on your store dashboard's reports or statistics page for the same number, for the same period and the same channel.

Salla and Zid menu names are translated from their Arabic help centers; your dashboard may word them slightly differently.

Which currency should I choose?

Choose the currency your platform shows sales in, which is usually your store's base currency (Salla, for example, converts all amounts to the store's base currency).

Which basis matches my platform's number?

Salla

  1. “Total sales” in Salla: before discounts, includes products, shipping and taxes, and excludes returns → “Including shipping and tax, before discounts”.

Zid

  1. Zid's help center doesn't say what the “Sales” indicator includes → choose “Not specified” if you're not sure.

Shopify

  1. Gross sales → “Excluding shipping and tax, before discounts”.
  2. Net sales → “Excluding shipping and tax, after discounts”.
  3. Total sales → “Including shipping and tax, after discounts”.

Another platform? Look on your store dashboard's reports or statistics page for the same number, for the same period and the same channel.

Salla and Zid menu names are translated from their Arabic help centers; your dashboard may word them slightly differently.

Scenarios (up to 3)

For each scenario, choose the orders per visit you want to try. The average order value stays the same unless you enter a different one.

Scenario A

How do I choose the rate?

This is a rate you choose to try out “what if?”. It isn't a number from your platform, nor a benchmark suited to your store. Start from your current rate and try rates close to it.

When should I change it?

Leave it empty to keep the average order value as it is. Only enter a number if you want to try a different average.

Want to know why many of your visitors don't order?

Create a free account and connect your store, and we'll give you a catalog audit report: what's missing from your product pages (descriptions, images, sizes, prices) and what could be improved. We only read — we don't change anything in your store.

We use the calculator's numbers only for the calculation and don't store them. When you create an account, we keep your account data as described in our privacy policy.
